Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Cultural Institution in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic cultural institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all guests and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents as you conduct regular patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary based on the site.
- Observe and report any irregularities or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as required.
- Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or guests while upholding the standards of Allied Universal at the location.
- Assist with crowd management and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity during events or operational hours.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
