Background

• Design and implement bare-metal network protocol stacks (TCP/IP, UDP, custom protocols)
• Build socket-level implementations and network drivers for embedded Linux and RTOS environments
• Integrate networking capabilities into ARM-based SoCs and custom hardware platforms
• Develop bootloaders and BSPs with network functionality
• Optimize network performance for real-time, resource-constrained systems

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience implementing (not just using) network protocols at the stack level
• Deep expertise in C/C++ for embedded systems
• Proven track record of TCP/IP stack integration, socket programming, and protocol development
• Experience with embedded Linux networking, kernel modules, and device drivers

Preferred

• Experience building network infrastructure for autonomous systems or robotics
• RTOS networking implementation (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX)
• Custom protocol development for specialized hardware
