Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse) to provide comprehensive nursing care within a military healthcare environment. The RN will coordinate patient care, promote health and wellness, and ensure compliance with all clinical and administrative standards. This role supports the health, safety, and readiness of military personnel and associated staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of care, medical policies, and procedures within the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
  • Conduct physical exams, obtain health histories, and document findings.
  • Provide health promotion, education, and counseling to patients.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and deliver individualized nursing interventions.
  • Direct and clinically supervise assigned healthcare personnel; delegate tasks based on scope of practice and competency.
  • Identify and respond to adverse signs and symptoms; act quickly in emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Arrange referrals and specialty consultations as needed.
  • Participate in nursing research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of nursing experience post-graduation.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in occupational health, employee health, or military/industrial nursing environments.
  • Strong clinical assessment, triage, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse interdisciplinary teams.
