Task Description:
The Nuclear Energy Project Manager (PM) supports the Army Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI) in managing all aspects of the development of multiple large-scale renewable and alternative energy resilience projects including project scoping, site selection, Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition process, project approval process, and third-party project financing process. The PM will be responsible for independently coordinating and completing project activities with internal and external stakeholders and overcoming obstacles, ensuring each project phase is completed on schedule. The PM will also be responsible for managing development and completion of Military Construction (MILCON) and/or Energy Resilience Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) DD1391 packages by the project team members. The PM will be expected to regularly update project schedules derived from OEI schedule templates. The PM will focus on nuclear energy projects.

Required skills/Level of Experience:
- At least five years of experience working in the DoD energy space, including at least one (1) year working with nuclear energy projects.
- Bachelors degree is required
- Understand DoD/Army landscape and can coordinate independently with stakeholders to meet the new nuclear Executive Order (EO) timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership to collaborate and work with a diverse team.
- Strong analytical skills to assess viability of potential renewable and alternative energy resilience project opportunities, as part of a team of engineers and finance professionals.
- Strong communication skills to provide recurring and ad hoc project updates and synthesizing information clearly and succinctly for key decision briefs and procurement actions.
