Job Summary
VSolvit LLC is seeking a qualified candidate for a Management Analyst 2 position that will support VSolvit LLC onsite at Port Hueneme, CA. This position will require an Active Secret Clearance with skills to perform clerical and financial duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to US Navy. This position requires experience supporting C-level executives, and the ability to handle differing situations while interacting with the executive level team and their processes.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
• Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline and 1+ years directly related DoD experience
• Three to five (3-5) years of technical experience in support of Department of Defense (DoD) efforts to include: Programmatic Support, Equipment Support, and System Support
• Three to five (3-5) years knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams
• Knowledge of Power Apps such as Power BI and Power Automate along with the use of tools such as Tableau and SQL
• Three to five (3-5) years knowledge or experience in the DoD or Government environment
• Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a related field
• Three to five (3-5) years of technical experience in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) efforts to include; system support, financial support, and programmatic support
• Project or Program Management Professional Certification or Certified DAWIA Level 2 or 3 in Program Management
• Direct experience with U.S. Navy and NSWC PHD processes and systems preferred

Responsibilities
- Experience with execution and phasing tools for a division to lead discussions with stakeholders and provide recommendations on how to spend funds appropriately in accordance with appropriation law.
- Execute financial and management data to interpret the composite financial results of operations to all levels of the Department's management.
- Lead efforts in deliverables and provide status inputs to respond to D-Department Business Operations data calls and action items.
- Expert in financial metric tools to interpret data in order to identify areas of budget shortfall and excess, perform variance analysis, projected carry-over analysis, and provide written and oral presentations to stakeholders.
- Central point of contact for action items, data calls, information, or problem resolution.
- Organize and schedule organizational meetings and appointments.
- Anticipate and prepare materials needed by the supervisor for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc., and informs supervisor on matters to be considered.
- Read publications, regulations, and directives and take action or refer those that are important to the supervisor and staff.
- Prepare special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, other offices, etc., under general directions.
- Knowledge of DoD office procedures and software programs (ERP, LOCUS, DTS, PRT) to complete tasking as required in support of the customer needs.
- Advises individuals outside the organization on the executive's views on major policies or current issues facing the organization.
- Contacts or responds to contact from high-ranking outside officials (e.g., city or state officials, members of congress, presidents of national unions or large national or international firms, etc.) in unique situations. These officials may be relatively inaccessible, and each contact typically must be handled differently, using judgment and discretion.
- Use greater judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations, interprets and adapts guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents, and practices, which are not always completely applicable to changing situations.
