Aviation Maintenance Technician - Electrical (P-8 Aircraft)

Jacksonville, FL

Contract Position

$29.87-$32.13/Hour

Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, termination, and repair of electrical wire bundles per technical schematics and blueprints
• Properly handle fiber optic components during electrical maintenance procedures
• Interpret and follow complex wiring diagrams and schematics
• Ensure adherence to contract and regulatory requirements in all maintenance tasks
• Accurately document work performed and maintain records in compliance with company and federal standards
• Work at heights using fall protection equipment in compliance with OSHA 1926, 191066, 1910 Subpart D
• Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision while ensuring safety and first-time quality

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Clearance: Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of aircraft electrical maintenance experience
• Aircraft Background: Hands-on experience with 737 platforms or derivatives (preferred)
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Proficiency in wire bundle installation and termination
  • Ability to read and apply blueprint schematics
  • Skilled in fiber optic handling and installation
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced MRO environment
• Work Environment:
  
  • Must be able to work at elevated heights with certified fall protection equipment
  • Regular, predictable on-site attendance required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military or corporate aviation experience strongly considered
