About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Collaboration Support Specialist to work on-site at Camp Smith, HI.

The Collaboration Support Specialist is the front-facing representative of the Information Knowledge Management (IKM) Section, serving as the primary point of contact for all incoming requests-whether by phone, email, or walk-in. This role is essential in triaging support inquiries, managing task routing, and ensuring effective coordination between the IKM Project Manager and customers. The Collaboration Support Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency across the IKM team by managing communication workflows, ticket systems, schedules, documentation, and lifecycle compliance for custom solutions and automation support.

What you will do:
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all IKM inquiries, including walk-ins, emails, and phone calls.
  • Identify the nature of support requests and collaborate with the IKM Project Manager to assign tasks appropriately across the IKM team.
  • Manage and update task tracking systems (e.g., ticketing boards, work queues), ensuring transparency and progress visibility for stakeholders.
  • Schedule internal and external meetings and touchpoints across projects and track key deadlines.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring action items are tracked and followed up.
  • Support quality assurance efforts by reviewing and testing newly developed applications, workflows, and automations for usability and functionality prior to release.
  • Ensure compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including documentation of requirements, testing logs, deployment approvals, and versioning.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of activities including task assignments, system changes, updates, deployments, and user feedback.
  • Assist with customer coordination and follow-up, including documenting requirements, delivering updates, and managing timelines.
  • Support configuration and content management of SharePoint-based collaboration spaces used throughout the organization.
  • Act as the continuity support point for IKM by maintaining team calendars, and other internal documentation repositories.
  • Coordinate with all IKM Sections; Information Management, Knowledge Management, and DevOps (e.g., app dependencies, integrations, or shared platforms).

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Familiarity with IT project workflows, ticketing systems, and SDLC best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Forms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience recording meeting minutes, managing schedules, and coordinating cross-functional team activities.
  • Ability to understand and track basic technical terminology related to application development and automation.
  • Customer service mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • U.S Citizenship Required.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
