A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with Information Technology (IT) Business Partners and business stakeholders to implement and maintain communications and network systems enabling the business to meet their organizational and program goals.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads and performs the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services (e.g., wireless, data, voice, video, cable, wire) based on customer goals, objectives, cost and security constraints, to lead the design process
Works collaboratively with other stakeholders (Transport, Transport, Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN), Structured Cabling, Project Manager, etc.) in focused, agile-inspired sprint teams
Provides oversight and consultation of work intake processes. backlog and execution of requests, coordinating with IT Business Partners, and Product Owners
Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards to meet customer requirements, using design templates and standard implementation packages
Prepares, deploys, and coordinates installation of complex implementation packages per business standards
Provides Level 3 Incident/Problem Management support in preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance to meet service restoration and network availability objectives, using network analysis and monitoring tools
Supports and participates in component research to provide input for more comprehensive evaluation
Leads and performs implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects, using established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling costs and ensuring adherence to project plan
Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations
3+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
3+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
Ability to support after-hours change windows and implementations
Willing to cover on call shifts, including weekends and after hours
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Current CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco Certification
Experience with COMSEC
Experience with Arista networking
Experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud
Experience with Cisco ISE
Experience with Zero Trust
Experience with MFA
Experience with Comply to Connect
Experience with NTP
Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems and Panorama

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $94,350 – $127,650
Summary pay range for Senior: $113,900 – $154,100
