Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required due to clearance requirement.
TEKsystems is seeking Software Engineers to support the C2Core Software in Colorado Springs supporting the joint all-domain command and control (JADC2) capability suite of command and control (C2) tools developed for operators by operators to be used across multiple domains. This role involves developing and modernizing enterprise-level applications that support critical mission software for the Department of Defense. Engineers will work in a dynamic Agile environment, contributing to both backend and frontend development using modern technologies.
Salary Range: $140,000 – $155,000/year
Final compensation is based on experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications
Develop backend services using Java and microservices architecture
Build frontend components using Angular
Manage CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
Deploy applications in AWS cloud environments
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Debug, test, and document software solutions
Required Skills:
5–7+ years of experience in Java backend development
5–7+ years of experience with Angular, Maven, and Spring
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Object-Oriented Design and software design patterns
Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Active Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to TS
Preferred Qualifications:
Security+ Certification
Experience with CM tools and best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
