SharePoint Product Owner

Location: Hybrid (Washington, DC - ~20% on-site; remainder remote)

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a SharePoint Product Owner to support a federal client's Office 365 SharePoint environment, guiding roadmap, governance, and user adoption at scale. You'll lead a SharePoint team, drive feature rollouts, and ensure disciplined Tier 2 support and governance adherence for mission-critical collaboration platforms.

What You'll Do

As the SharePoint Product Owner, you will:

  • Lead the SharePoint product roadmap and manage the SharePoint team, prioritizing backlog and stakeholder needs.
  • Plan and execute new feature rollouts in SharePoint Online/Office 365, from design through UAT and release.
  • Develop and conduct end-user training to drive adoption and measurable business outcomes.
  • Triage and resolve Tier 2 support requests with a strong focus on customer experience and SLAs.
  • Enforce and evolve SharePoint governance standards, documentation, and compliant operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (business, security, engineering) to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Schedule & Shift Details
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Support required during East Coast business hours
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Public Trust clearance required or higher (Interim acceptable to start).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and administering SharePoint sites (SharePoint Online/Office 365).

Demonstrated experience (replace levels with years):

  • Microsoft SharePoint: 10+ years (Product ownership, administration, and delivery).
  • Agile methodology (Scrum/SAFe): 10+ years (backlog, UAT, release management).
  • Microsoft ASP.NET: 10+ years (familiarity enabling integrations/customizations).

Bonus points:

  • SAFe Agile Certification; Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager; CSP-PO; Certified Scrum Professional.
  • Experience with global public health programs (HIV/AIDS, PEPFAR).
