Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Sr Principal Computer Systems Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.
Roles and responsibilities:
This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or Master's degree and 6 years of experience; or PhD degree and 4 years of experience, a High School diploma or equivalent and 12 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
• The ability to be granted special program access (SAP/SAR) within 1 year of hire date.
• The ability to maintain a secret level clearance
• Windows Server Administration & Management experience.
• Windows Domain architecture experience.
• Windows Active Directory, Windows Domain administration experience.
• Microsoft MECM, SCCM, WSUS, and/or SMS experience.
• Current Security + CE (or other DoD 8570 certification), or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Primary Level Salary Range: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Serve as a Systems Administrator for a government contract, leading as a Subject Matter Expert in Windows, VMWare, and Horizon VDI.
- Communicate effectively with all organizational levels and external customers.
- Ensure smooth operation of multi-user systems, coordinating with various technical teams.
- Support multiple networks and complete necessary administration tasks.
- Collaborate with System Engineering to recommend and implement system improvements.
- Enhance system performance and reliability through upgrades, monitoring, and problem resolution.
- Administer backup, recovery, and virus protection services.
- Manage user accounts and security access, ensuring STIG compliance and IA accreditation.
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures.
- Report project status and provide task updates to management.
- Analyze customer requirements and oversee system implementation.
- Navigate complex configurations to improve system performance, reliability, and security.
- Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines.

- Experience with computer hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance in networked environments.
- Basic networking knowledge, including subnets, routing, VLANs, and Cisco experience/certification.
- Experience with virtual hosting environments like VMWare, Nutanix, KVM, and Hyper-V.
- Experience with cloud hosting environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Linux Operating System.
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk).
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
