Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances within the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or activities as required.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while performing security-related duties.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Participate in training and drills related to security-related protocols and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
