As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Shift in Twinsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment in a healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible throughout the location, and providing outstanding customer service to all staff, patients, and visitors. By fostering open communication and demonstrating professionalism, you will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in accordance with healthcare facility guidelines.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain authorized movement throughout the location.
- Support medical staff, patients, and visitors by providing directions, answering questions, and offering assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site staff to uphold a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals present at the location.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- A Private Investigator License is preferred for this position.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred for this position.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
