This role supports U.S. Navy Ships under the direction of Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) and serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).

- Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associated Navy Schools
- 4+ years of related experience with shipboard systems and associated systems
- Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.
- Fiber Optics Technician Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and handling tools/equipment.
- Regular verbal and auditory communication.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to board naval crafts, navigating passageways and steep ladders.
- Comfortable working in shipboard and industrial environments.
