Are you looking for an opportunity to deepen your price and cost evaluation skills in a meaningful work environment that supports and protects explorers and heroes? Join our team! As a Price/Cost Analyst III, you'll evaluate statistical and proposal data to establish recommended cost and price objectives for proposal and Subcontracts/Procurement transactions with suppliers. You'll review supplier cost or pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by the supplier in support of their proposal in determination of RFP compliance, the coordination of a technical evaluation, assessment of FAR and Truth in Negotiations Act compliance, as well as the establishment of allowability and reasonableness of proposed costs, and the evaluation of proposed profit/fee. Additionally, you'll track data and information to stay current on price trends and manufacturing processes, as well as prepares reports, charts, and graphs of findings. You'll be involved in supplier negotiations by assisting the buyer in establishing a competitive contract price.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the cost analysis and evaluation of supplier proposals in excess of the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act (TCPD), in accordance with FAR 15.403
- Under limited supervision, develop and implement comprehensive cost and price analyses for complex proposals
- Review and evaluate supplier proposals in support of SNC program and proposal team requirements to ensure adequacy
- Coordinate detailed technical evaluations of supplier proposals
- Assess compliance with FAR and the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act
- Determine the allowability and reasonableness of proposed costs
- Evaluate and provide strategic recommendations on proposed profit/fee structures
- Prepare and present in-depth cost/price analysis reports for senior management and customer review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support procurement and subcontracting efforts
- Maintain comprehensive records of cost/price analysis and supplier evaluations
- Conduct fact finding and rate audits at supplier locations to develop fair and reasonable pricing positions to support negotiations with customers and suppliers
- Develop, update, and deliver training to SNC supply chain in SNC policies, templates and forms related to price analysis
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level analysts on cost analysis best practices
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Must possess project management skills including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Extensive experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Expertise in federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act.
- Experience with FAR/DFARS
- Knowledgeable in Accounting practices
- Financial audit experience
- Experience in Price Cost Analysis
- Cost element evaluation experience (labor hours, direct labor rates, indirect rates, material dollars, other direct costs)
