Role Description:
As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our IT systems. Your expertise will be key in resolving technical issues, optimizing performance, and contributing to the improvement of our IT infrastructure.

Sentar is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist - Electronic Classroom Support in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii!
Role Description:
As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our IT systems. Your expertise will be key in resolving technical issues, optimizing performance, and contributing to the improvement of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available
- Ensure that Active Directory accounts are properly configured
- Assist customers in overcoming any challenges through monitoring and performance management
- Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network
- Turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning
- Manage users and computers in an enterprise network
Qualifications:
Clearance Level: Must possess DoD Interim Secret OR an active Secret clearance
Minimum Certifications: IAT II
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Skills:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- General Experience: Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration
- Perform standard IT functions within technology area
- Experience with connectivity, interoperability, operational readiness, and security and compliance systems maintenance
- Experience with systems and hardware and software administration and integration
- Experience with routine maintenance, including break and fix, backup and recovery, and inventory and asset management
Highly Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Physical Science, Math, or Graphic Design
- Experience with multi-media systems support and community of interest (COI) network operations
- Experience with local group policy management and file share, system, and account administration
- Experience with configuration and change management and life cycle support
- Experience with workstation and server hardware installation, maintenance, board replacement, and cable switching
- Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of system development, software maintenance, and ancillary functions
- Knowledge of cyber defense compliance and accreditation services
- Ability to perform onsite service center support
