NexGen Data Systems is seeking a highly skilled Task Order Project Manager to act as manager for a large, complex task order and assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. This position will provide management, direction, administration, clerical support, documentation, quality assurance, and leadership during the execution of this PWS.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage large, complex task orders (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
• Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
• Provide management, direction, administration, clerical support, documentation, quality assurance, and leadership during the execution of this PWS.
• The Project Manager is the authorized point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and will provide support for the Enterprise LAN to include Northeast, Central, South, and Western regions within the Continental United States.
• interfacing with Government management personnel, staffing of all tasks, formulating, and enforcing work standards, creating personnel and project schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating Government policies, purposes, and goals to the contract team.
• Submit evaluations and recommendations which could potentially improve operations that are out-of-scope of the current contract to the COR and/or Contracting Officer (KO) for action.
• Manage project schedules and resources to ensure deliverables meet government schedules.
• Communicate weekly with DLA Project Managers, Points of Contact and regional LAN Leads.
• Resolve issues/problems, allocate resources, manage project personnel, and manage project operations/performance.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. Prepare and provide ad hoc slides for DLA management and attend meetings as required.

Desired/Required Skills:
• Department of Defense Secret, Critical Sensitive with a Tier 5/SSBI investigation clearance required.
• 8570/8140: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM III
• Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.)
• Five (5) years relevant experience
• Five (5 )years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
• Education: BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
