As the DevSecOps Manager Associate you will be responsible for directing and coordinating a wide array of software engineering development and delivery projects-from concept and staffing to execution and close out-while supervising a talented, multi-skilled workforce. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external customers to meet contractual software delivery schedules and oversee assignment requirements and completion.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing functional authority for project planning, organization, control, integration, and completion.
• Recruiting, selecting, training, and mentoring individual contributor DevSecOps engineers.
• Conducting performance assessments, assigning work, managing salaries, and handling recognition or disciplinary actions.
• Formulating engineering program plans, staffing projects according to technical needs, and assigning personnel to specific phases or tasks.
• Coordinating technical development activities, maintaining project schedules, and resolving challenges.
• Ensuring qualified personnel are deployed for both technical and logistical tasks in compliance with contract timelines.
• Reporting status, risks, and milestones to leadership and adjusting resources as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with software development projects.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated knowledge of CI/CD DevSecOps principals, concepts, and applications.
• Strong computer skills, to include Python, Ansible, Cloud (AWS or Azure), Gitlab, Nexus, Artifactory, Jira, Tableau.
• Experience operating in an agile environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills and the ability to effectively work within a diverse workforce.
• Proven track record of successful communication with LM senior management.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.
• Ability to coordinate and influence across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Ability to establish priorities to meet contractual requirements/metrics.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience working within ADP and Special Access Programs.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
