Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with individuals on site, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to address concerns. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or residents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Interact with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policy and training.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
