Key Responsibilities:
- Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk management strategies.
- Align program initiatives with organizational strategic goals and ensure dependencies between projects are identified and managed.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
- Monitor program progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage interdependencies between projects within the program and external teams.
- Facilitate regular program meetings, stand-ups, and reviews to track progress and resolve issues.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders and leadership when necessary, along with proposed solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related communications to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, team members, and external partners.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise, and timely program status reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong, collaborative relationships.
- Work with functional managers to ensure adequate resource allocation for program success.
- Monitor and control program budgets, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits.
- Track and report on program financials, identifying variances and taking corrective action.
- Ensure program deliverables meet defined quality standards and stakeholder requirements.
- Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Implement best practices in program management methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security +)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. (Preferred)
- Agile certifications. (Preferred)
- 15+ years of related experience.
- Excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, and leadership courage.
- Highly motivated professional capable of managing a demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities.
- Experience as an Atlassian JIRA and Confluence administrator across multiple security domains.
- Knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), including initial design/analysis through deployment.
