Primary Function
This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and currency of aircraft and maintenance related documentation such as aircraft/engine logbooks, schedules, status, and associated records.
Essential Duties
- Coordinate with Management and Leads for scheduling and execution of required aircraft operational and maintenance actions.
- Extracts data, formulates/interprets management reports, creates archives, and saves data in support of all onsite maintenance operations.
- Perform flight following actions and communications with aircrew during all Functional Check Flight (FCF) activities.
- Debrief incoming/outgoing aircrew personnel, extracting critical information on mission results and actions required.
- Accurately track / brief current aircraft operational status information to all levels of management and forecasting future requirements or actions.
- Must be proficient in performing all operator, data entry, and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping.
- Performs networking functions between individual groups which includes analysis, correction of hardware/software errors, and data entry.
- Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports/correspondence, filing, typing, and performing data base/systems analyses.
- Other duties as required.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of aviation operations and maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to provide valuable input to aircraft scheduling, maintenance flows, and aircraft operational inputs.
- Ability to read and understand all pertinent technical orders and directives.
- Intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
- Ability to enter data accurately into databases follow processes, perform basic mathematical computations, and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will regularly interact with other crew members.
- Must possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information.
- Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
- Ability to follow established processes.
- Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
- Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions.
- Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista goals.
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree a plus.
- 10+ years' aviation operational control related experience
- 4+ years' experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or DOD contracts.
- Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
