As a Senior Sustainment & Development PM Support you will participate in cross-functional teams in evolving acquisition management, logistics life cycle management, maintenance, and data analysis.

The pay range for this position is $180,000/year to $220,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. Other Job duties include:
- Required to work hand in hand with prime contractors as part of a government program office in the rapid development, production, and fielding of sustainable systems to meet operational requirements.
- The position will require coordination with DoD and other governmental agencies in the development of deployment packages and coordinate shipment of assets to support high priority missions.
- Will evaluate requirements and coordinate construction of facilities for the storage of assets at various locations around the globe.
- Will require development of system safety presentations and leading meetings with various safety review boards.
- Will lead the development of any unique system support equipment.
- Will develop briefings for program managers, Major Commands, and senior Air Force leadership.
- Coordinates and leads system developmental and operational testing on a variety of DoD test ranges and host platforms.
- Will work with prime contractors to ensure telemetry and safety systems meet range safety requirements.
- Evaluates contractor developed technical data, training, maintenance procedures, operations procedures, and manpower requirements.
- The individual will develop and sustain or use current asset accountability systems for assets located at contractor and government facilities around the globe.
- Will work with DoD organizations planning the allocation and world-wide distribution of assets to support operational requirements.
Required Experience:
- 15+ years experience in Air Force maintenance technical order verification/validation
- 15+ years of current system logistic management
- Minimum 5 years working with special access programs
- Minimum 5 years of system developmental and operational testing
- Minimum 5 years experience in system configuration management
- Minimum 5 years experience in submitting product improvement reports (PQDR/DR) and managing deficiency program
- Experience with system software integration and testing is highly desirable
- Knowledge of logistics management principles and policies through all facets of lifecycle logistical planning and execution
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing concisely and with technical accuracy
- Firsthand experience developing deployment packages and working with DoD and commercial transportation organizations
- Experience designing, developing and executing Logistic Support Analysis for new acquisition efforts is highly desirable
- Experience working closely with prime and sub-contractors in system acquisition and sustainment is highly desirable
- Experience ensuring prime contractors meet requirements in acquisition documentation to include
- Capability Definition Documents (CDD), contract Statements of Work (SOW), and System Requirements Documents (SRD)
- Experience implementing Performance Based Logistic infrastructures or acting as a Product Support Integrator is highly desirable
- Experience participating with the AF Logistics Management Agency or other equivalent agencies
- Experience with the DoD supply chain management and Air Force maintenance operations Background in asset accountability
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in a related field
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act - Level I acquisition Certification / Level II desired
