Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Manager Project Management 2 . The position supports Systems Integration Solutions (SIS) Operating Unit (OU) team within the Weapons Integration and Mission Solutions Business Unit. This position is onsite in Orlando Florida, other locations may be considered.
The Project Manager will focus support for CBAD [ Cannon Based Air Defense]. CBAD is new advanced, guided cannon-fired ammunition to intercept mass air threats like drones and cruise missiles. CBAD provides terminal defense against a high volume of diverse aerial threats, such as unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and cruise missiles.
The selected individual will lead the planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of all Operating Unit level internal meetings and engagements.
Coordinating all program level, operating unit level and business unit level engagements, developing and maintaining the business operations dashboard to track performance metrics, and coordinate action tracking across the division leadership.
Provide Guidance up and down the chain of command.

Primary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Meeting Coordination - Support SIS OU Director in the planning, coordination and execution of all program and operating unit level meetings to include; Site Visits, Cross-OU/BU/Sector exchanges, staff meetings, BURs, BARs, Metrics reviews.
- Meeting Support - Prepare all meeting minutes, create Action Item Trackers on MS SharePoint and track to closure. When the SIS OU Director is unavailable, stand in and/or run meetings in their absence as needed.
- DS Principles & Operating Practices (DS PrOP) - Manage the coordination and review of DS PrOP drafts with relevant stakeholders to gather formal comments/ concurrence.
- SharePoint - Review all requests for new sites and maintain oversight of permissions to approved sites; maintain tracking sheet detailing all addresses and owners.
- Special Projects - Manage and staff special projects that as requested by the SIS Director. Of particular interest this role will support the effort to establish Cannon Based Air Defense (CBAD) as a program of record.
- Strategic Communication - Support the SIS Director in developing key messages and talking points for deliver to BUVP and higher and to employees, prepare presentations that communicate the Operating Unit's priorities, challenges, and highlights effectively for a variety of audiences and settings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years related professional experience OR a master's degree AND 8 or more years of related professional experience
- Experience with conducting presentations to upper/executive management.
- 3+ years of demonstrated management experience [ project management experience]
- Demonstrated leadership experience - either leading direct reports, technical program teams, or strategy efforts..
- Project Management - Experience in managing projects, tracking deliverables, and meeting deadlines. .
- Experience Advising the senior leadership[ on strategic priorities, conduct research, and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Experience Leading and managing cross-functional projects from conception to completion, tracking progress and making recommendations for improvements.
- Experience , fostering collaboration, ensuring clear communication, and filtering information for executive review
- US Citizenship with Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading business operations at the OU level or higher
- Experience with Air Defense such as CRAM, Shorad, CIWS, Patriot
- Demonstrated experience with cross program, or multi-discipline, collaboration.
- Work that crosses typical organizational, site, sector boundaries
- Engineering and production experience
- Extensive and documented experience in an operational role at the Business Unit level.
- Experience with Northrop Grumman's culture and demonstrated success effectively working within company's organization, processes, and procedures.
- Experience with writing White Papers for internal/external communications.
- Continuous improvement and problem-solving tools and techniques
- Active Secret security clearance
