Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Senior Network Engineer to join our team on-site in Honolulu, HI. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in DoD cybersecurity policy, enterprise architecture, and strategic network design, and must possess an active IAM Level III certification.
Responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer include:
- Serve as the lead architect for all network environments, including future-state architecture planning.
- Advise leadership on technology selection, network optimization, and capability enhancements.
- Evaluate enterprise architecture against mission objectives, capacity demands, and cyber posture requirements.
- Develop and present cost-benefit analyses, engineering plans, and risk assessments for major upgrades or transitions.
- Design and integrate strategies for data center operations, disaster recovery, and wireless network expansion.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and strategic engineering planning aligned with operational readiness and future force projection.
- Assess network topology, protocol architecture, and integration plans to ensure scalability and security.
- Provide recommendations to meet evolving operational IT needs.
- Oversee design compliance, risk assessments, and reviews involving cross-domain solutions and coalition connectivity.
- Survey site facilities to assess potential upgrades impacting network infrastructure and growth projects.
Qualifications for the Senior Network Engineer include:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
- Active IAM Level III Certification at start date (GSLC, CISM, or CISSP).
- 10+ years of experience integrating DoD and Army cybersecurity policy into IT projects.
- 5+ years of program-level cybersecurity management, including planning and coordination of network/system administration requirements.
- 5+ years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance
Compensation for the Senior Network Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: $130,000-$155,000/year depending on experience
