As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Government Full-Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
- Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
- Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols.

- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
