Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-level platforms and governance initiatives in alignment with the mission and objectives of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). This on-site role requires a highly organized, analytical individual who excels at business analysis, stakeholder engagement, governance facilitation, and adoption planning. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving strategic alignment, gathering and refining requirements, and guiding project teams through full lifecycle implementation and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning, Intake, and Governance
• Support the establishment and enforcement of the strategic roadmap and vision for enterprise platforms and ecosystem alignment.
• Ensure business and platform team alignment with strategic objectives, platform governance, and measurable business outcomes.
• Participate in and facilitate technical governance boards and steering committees, serving as a critical voice in governance planning and enforcement.
Business Analysis
• Serve as the primary liaison for customer engagement, project activities, and communication of escalations.
• Define and document project and task goals, scope, and timelines, ensuring milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Release Managers, Security Teams, and platform stakeholders to plan and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in project governance, Agile scrum meetings, and strategic workshops, including project kickoff and process planning sessions.
• Contribute to the development of platform roadmaps and support shaping demand for enterprise platform adoption.
• Support time and cost estimation activities in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Requirements and Stakeholder Management
• Lead the capture of business and user requirements, use cases, and functional stories where Agile methodologies apply.
• Ensure requirements are well understood, tested, and implemented in alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Own and nurture stakeholder relationships to identify, prioritize, model, and document business, process, and data requirements.
• Serve as a trusted representative of stakeholders throughout the planning, development, and release lifecycle.
Communication, Adoption, and Support
• Support the platform and release teams through training, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with the Release Manager and other stakeholders to develop and refine release estimates and timelines.
• Drive user adoption by assessing training needs, delivering group and individual training, and facilitating change management.
• Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and communications to ensure clear understanding of platform functions and changes.
• Coordinate internal communications related to system and solution deployments within the platform environment.
Personal Skills:
• Analytical: Strong skills in identifying, interpreting, and solving complex problems across business and technical areas.
• Strategic Communicator: Effective in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, strategic planning, or governance support.
• Experience working within federal or highly regulated environments preferred.
• Proven success in capturing complex requirements and supporting enterprise platforms across full project lifecycles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and stakeholder communications.
Tools & Technologies:
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent for documentation, requirement tracking, and collaboration.
• Proficiency in standard project and business analysis toolsets (e.g., Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, process modeling tools).
• Experience with enterprise platform environments (e.g., case management, workflow automation, ITSM) is a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• On-site role based in Washington, D.C. with no required travel.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
