Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a qualified School Based Child and Youth Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) to provide behavioral health services to military service members and their families. This is an on-site role at Altus AFB, OK, and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.
In this role you will:
- Provide counseling services in a school setting for children of military service members
- Deliver face-to-face counseling, training, and health and wellness presentations, as well as consultations with parents, school personnel, and installation command staff on behavioral issues affecting children and youth
- Support youth programs, summer camps, and other on-demand assignments as needed
- Collaborate closely with military branch Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure program implementation aligns with contract requirements and meets the needs of the assigned installation
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA)
- A valid, unrestricted counseling license, preferably in the state of work; however, licenses from other states may be accepted as well
- Typical licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, and LMHC;
- LADC and LMSW license types are NOT eligible, and clinicians under supervision may NOT apply
- School-based Counselors must demonstrate past experience working in a school setting or other Child/Youth Services setting
- Understanding of military lifestyles and experience working with military family members
- Ability to work independently to develop, implement, and evaluate safety and intervention plans to meet individual and family needs
- Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English
- Must be able to pass all background/suitability checks, which may include additional installation-specific requirements
Desired Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
