Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a qualified School Based Child and Youth Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) to provide behavioral health services to military service members and their families.. This is an onsite role at Altus AFB, OK, and is open to US Citizens ONLY.

In this role you will:

  • Provide counseling services in a school setting for children of military service members
  • Deliver face-to-face counseling, training, and health and wellness presentations, as well as consultations with parents, school personnel, and installation command staff on behavioral issues affecting children and youth
  • Support youth programs, summer camps, and other on-demand assignments as needed
  • Collaborate closely with military branch Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure program implementation aligns with contract requirements and meets the needs of the assigned installation

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA)
  • A valid, unrestricted counseling license, preferably in the state of work; however, licenses from other states may be accepted as well
  • Typical licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, and LMHC;
    • LADC and LMSW license types are NOT eligible, and clinicians under supervision may NOT apply
  • School-based Counselors must demonstrate past experience working in a school setting or other Child/Youth Services setting
  • Understanding of military lifestyles and experience working with military family members
  • Ability to work independently to develop, implement, and evaluate safety and intervention plans to meet individual and family needs
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English
  • Must be able to pass all background/suitability checks, which may include additional installation-specific requirements

Desired Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
