This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

The Comptroller will provide full-time, on-site financial oversight at the NVC, managing invoice compilation, submission, and corrections across both Centers. This role ensures accurate and timely invoicing, provides cost estimates for new initiatives, and maintains close coordination with Operations Officers and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) to address any government concerns.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Comptroller : Pay commensurate with experience.

Comptroller Responsibilities Include:

  • Compile, review, and submit invoices for both Centers in accordance with contractual requirements.


  • Make immediate corrections to invoices as needed to ensure accuracy.


  • Provide cost estimates and financial input for proposed initiatives and operational changes.


  • Collaborate closely with Operations Officers and CORs to address invoicing concerns and ensure responsiveness.


  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with government and contractor standards.


  • Support audits, reviews, and financial reporting as required.


  • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance invoicing efficiency and accuracy.


  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Comptroller Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.


  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in accounting, financial management, or contract finance, preferably in a government contracting environment.


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting/financial management tools.


  • Ability to make independent financial decisions and ensure timely resolution of issues.


  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
