ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael's is hiring a Project Accountant to support the Home Office and Department of Defense (DoD) clients. As the Project Controller, you will provide support to the organization and project managers in the areas of maintaining budgets, monitoring expenditures, forecasting future costs, creating reports and invoicing. The Project Controller will also be responsible for ensuring projects follow company policies, contracts and government regulations (e.g. FAR and DFARS).

WHO YOU ARE
- 4 or more years of experience supporting medium scale DoD organizations, either in the home office or client facing role.
- 4 or more years of experience in a financial, accounting or budgeting role.
- High school diploma or higher.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the organization and project managers.
- Maintaining budgets, monitoring expenditures, forecasting future costs.
- Creating reports per contract or directed by project manager.
- Creation and review of monthly invoicing process.
- Being the lead in Unanet software.
- Ensuring projects follow company policies, contracts and government regulations (e.g. FAR and DFARS).
