Clearance Required: Position requires a SECRET Security Clearance with ability to gain a TS clearance and SCI eligibility
Education: High school graduation or equivalency certification.
Desired Education: Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments/ordnance, or engineering technology, or completion of at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of course studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.
Experience:
4 years of progressive responsible engineering or technical experience in support of fabrication of test equipment, installation of communications or test and evaluation efforts
Desired Experience
8 years of experience in performing electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments/ordnance, or engineering technology functions
2 years’ experience shall have consisted of performing engineering/technical functions with respect to support of manufacturing of test and evaluation, aircraft systems, avionics systems, or equivalent
Prior military aircraft maintenance, operation, or support experience
Experience with electronic warfare, acoustics, radar, communications or armaments
Flight test or test support experience
DoD and commercial standards (interfaces, protocols, etc.) used in integrating wired networks in Naval aviation weapons systems.
DoD and commercial standards (interfaces, protocols, waveforms, etc.) used in wireless networks involving Naval Aviation weapons systems.
Strong communications skills
Position Description:
Typically performs all functional duties as part of an integrated test team
Applies experience and skills to operate, maintain, repair, and investigate anomalous behavior of maritime patrol aircraft systems, including flight vehicle, sensors, weapons, control station and integration
Participates in pre-event briefings, test execution, post-flight activities and data analysis in support of test program execution.

The projected salary range for this position is $130,000-145,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
