Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our Aircraft Modification and Modernization team in Oklahoma City, OK!

This site operates with a 9/80 work schedule! This position is required to be 100% on site.
Position Responsibilities:
Level 2
• Reviews of supplier statements of work and purchase contracts to determine the applicable quality requirements for suppliers
• Liaise with supplier management on purchase contracts
• Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues
• Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements in Receiving Inspection
• Supports internal audits of supplier quality processes
• Participates in root cause correct actions
• Resolves routine issues and concerns
• Coordinates and supports process improvements
• Works under general supervision
• A team player, able to work in collaborative environment
Level 3
• Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
• Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
• Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
• Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
• Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
• Resolves routine issues and concerns.
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 1+ year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Lync or Teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 1+ years of Supply Chain experience
• 1+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
• 1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• 1+ years of e xperience managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction
• Experience developing inspection plans
