Come be a part of the THAAD Post Production Foreign Military Service (FMS) Team, which is one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world and is ready to take on the challenge. As a Field Technician, supporting all of THAAD Post-Production Missile field activities, you will be responsible for supporting missile field surveillance testing by assisting in the planning and execution, you will be involved in material procurement process from proposal to delivery needed to sustain fielded missiles, ready to support discussions involving field anomalies and potential solutions affecting the Post Production team, be prepared to interact with customers by addressing their issues and priorities, and support development and updates of field and engineering missile manuals and documents required to support Soldier and field technician procedures that support stored or deployed THAAD missiles. As a Field Technician you will:
• Be able to complete work under very general supervision.
• Motivated individual who is a self-starter able to work in high Up-tempo environment.
• Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
• Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
• Infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
• Work with multi-discipline engineering teams to track and gather information required to provide the customer to assist in the decision making process.

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Logistics within the Army / Air Force / Navy / DoD Logistics environment or commercial equivalent
• Proven interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence and act as change agent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic knowledge on UNIX/Linux Operating Systems
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated
• Security+ certification or the ability to earn within 6 months of hire date
• An active U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance
• A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
• Able to travel overseas up to 40%
• Must have valid passport, and ability to travel
Desired Skills:
• Ability to coordinate, plan, and execute weapon system hardware, software, and firmware upgrades and modifications as the Field Operations team lead for the UAE THAAD Logistics Operations Center (ULOC)
• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician or Contractor Logistics Support Technician
• Previous experience leading a team of Field Service Technicians or Contractor Logistics Support Technicians
• Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)
• Ability to apply troubleshooting / fault detection / fault isolation procedures independently
• THAAD Operator and/or Field Technician experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
