Overview
LOGISTICIAN III (EOIR):
Bowhead seeks a Senior Logistician to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division (NSWC-Crane). The Logistician will demonstrate experience in DOD Logistics, Configuration Management (CM), Acquisition, Quality, Records Management and Program Support in the Electro-Optic Technology Division (LXN), Electro-Optic Product Branch (LXNP) of the Sensor Integration and Technology Department. The candidate must provide innovative, well designed, and integrated approaches for logistics, configuration and data management support for EO/IR projects.

Travel: Expected travel is two (2) times annually for periods of one week each event
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Responsibilities
- Provide innovative, well designed, and integrated approaches for logistics, configuration and data management support for Airborne EO/IR projects.
- Assist the government lead in the planning, execution, integration and oversight of all Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities and projects
- Possess an in-depth operational knowledge and experience in the Government's Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM)
- Demonstrate a mastery of the five (5) CM elements: CM Management and Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control (including Change Management), Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Verification & Audit.
- Apply Logistics expertise to assist in developing innovative process improvements and solutions.
- Assist the Government in the management of multiple EO/IR Technical Data Packages (TDPs), creating or updating existing TDPs in the Government iPDM tool
- Review and provide recommendation for configuration impacts in the Government iPDM tool.
- Perform other Logistics and CM duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors' Degree with eight (8) years of professional experience in government document control, knowledge of government operating procedures and requirements
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
