iGov is seeking a highly skilled and experienced LAN Lead will be responsible for providing project management support to an information technology (IT) organization.

Locations: New Cumberland, PA, Columbus, OH, Tracy, CA and Fort Belvoir, VA

Essential Responsibilities:
• Serve as the regional LAN Lead to support and direct contract network engineers, providing technical oversight for all aspects of network upgrade design, implementation, and sustainment , as well as daily network operations support.
• Direct and oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking hardware and software , ensuring the successful sustainment of both newly installed technologies and existing production infrastructure.
• Perform lab testing of LAN equipment
• Utilize and integrate a suite of specified network management tools—including Cisco ISE, Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Prime, Cisco Wireless Controllers (WLCs) and Access Points, Redhat Ansible, and INFOBLOX Grid Manager —to ensure total network visibility and control.
• Lead equipment lifecycle planning and conduct market research for new technologies to support network upgrades , validating solutions by performing lab testing of LAN equipment to inform procurement specifications.
• Develop and maintain critical engineering documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process and Build Documentation, while ensuring all NTS-LAN network diagrams are kept up to date with a certified annual review.
• Coordinate with J6 and other agency stakeholders to support requirements planning and implementation, providing regular project updates to the Task Order Project Manager (PM) and Government POC and attending all relevant support meetings.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical direction to network engineers, ensuring strict adherence to DoD/DLA policies for information assurance and established Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices.

Essential Required Experience & Skills:
• Must possess an active DOD Top Secret clearance at time of proposal submission.
• Cisco computing environment certificates such as CCNA or CCNP. Equivalent certifications from other vendors are also acceptable


Educational Requirements:

• BS or BA or four (4) preferred or additional years of related experience.
