iGov is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Telecommunication Network Engineer will be responsible for providing project management support to an information technology (IT) organization.

Locations: Ft. Belvoir, VA; Richmond, VA; Tracy, CA; Battle Creek, MI; New Cumberland, PA; and Columbus, OH
Essential Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and sustain network solutions for wired and wireless LANs, and install, configure, and maintain all networking hardware and software to support enterprise requirements.
• Perform detailed Layer 2 design, including the configuration of VLANs and spanning tree, and lead IPv6 assessment, configuration, and integration while managing DNS/DHCP addressing.
• Utilize and integrate a suite of specified network management tools—including Opentext Network Automation, Opentext Network Node Manager (NNMi), Cisco ISE, Cisco Catalyst Center, Redhat Ansible, INFOBLOX Grid Manager, Splunk, Axonius, and NetScout Infinistream—to ensure total network visibility and control.
• Conduct network monitoring and fault detection, providing high-level problem diagnosis through data capture and analysis to resolve LAN problems and optimize performance.
• Provide 24/7/365 call-back support and participate in the on-call rotation, delivering expert problem diagnosis, data capture, analysis, and resolution for all LAN-related incidents.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance by participating in the creation and implementation of STIG and baseline LAN configurations, adhering to all DoD/DLA information assurance policies, and responding to United States Cyber Command Taskings.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including the Network Test Plan Document, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Process and Build Documentation.
• Provide continuous knowledge transfer to government staff and other contract personnel to enhance team capabilities and support operational readiness.
Essential Required Experience & Skills:
• Must have 7 years network operations experience.
• Cisco computing environment certificates such as CCNA, CCNP and CCIE. Equivalent certifications from other vendors are also acceptable
• Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification preferred.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
• Must possess an active DOD Top Secret clearance at time of proposal submission.
Educational Requirements:
• Higher Level Education or Military service can be used in lieu of 2 years network operations experience.
