Project Manager

This position requires an active Secret clearance.

The Onsite Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and execution of project operations at the assigned site. This position ensures all contractual, financial, and operational objectives are met while maintaining compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations. The Onsite Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the customer and corporate leadership, providing oversight for personnel, safety, quality, and performance standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager: $90,000-$120,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead and manage all onsite project activities to ensure alignment with contract requirements, performance metrics, and customer expectations.
  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of employees and subcontractors, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on project schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Serve as the principal liaison between the customer, corporate program management office, and site personnel.
  • Manage cost, schedule, and quality performance to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental policies, including OSHA and site-specific standards.
  • Review and approve timesheets, expense reports, and other administrative documentation.
  • Monitor inventory, logistics, and material control operations as applicable to the project scope.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain performance continuity.
  • Support audits, inspections, and performance evaluations conducted by the customer or corporate leadership.
  • Prepare and submit reports, briefings, and updates on project performance, staffing, and deliverables.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, logistics, or operations management, preferably supporting government or defense contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing personnel, budgets, and schedules in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
  • PMP or DAWIA certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
