Data Science Manager

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct statistical data analytics projects and/or studies to evaluate, design, and tabulate statistical sampling plans and,analytical procedures and processes.
• Knowledge of and skill in the use of Structured Query Language (SQL), Python data science and visualization packages (PyMC3, matplotlib, Bokeh, Sci-Kit,
  TensorFlow), MatLAB, PHP, Tableau, and similar data integration services and data visualization tools.
• Ability to work independently and lead analyses of data and information for use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
• Minimum of 8 years' documented experience applying statistical analysis and data mining to apply, learn, and improve understanding of\ data.
• Documented experience developing plans and oversight for full product development for Data Science projects from requirements development to deployment and sustainment.
• Experience with data workflow management tools and approaches such as Kanban boards, Agile development, etc.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $108,100.00/Yr. - USD $180,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
