Systems Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Aurora, CO.
An active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance is required for this opportunity.
Contract Length: 12 months
The engineer will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions. This role involves developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) with a minimum of 8+ years of prior engineering experience.
- Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
- Experience with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Demonstrated engineering technical abilities and project management experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external customers in team environments (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor).
- Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C++).
- Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes.
- Familiarity with NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods.
- Proven customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working across contract and location boundaries.
- Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and other collaborative engineering tools.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly in both oral and written form
