- This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $30,000 for New Hires.

Our work depends on a Systems Engineer joining our team to support a GDIT program that we are the prime on and is located at Annapolis Junction, MD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opportunity to provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and software enhancements for production user facing applications and backend Java software in support of mission objectives.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization's capabilities.
- Maintain and upgrade the Kubernetes clusters on the systems.
- Patch, upgrade, scan, report, and remediate vulnerabilities for the systems.
- Provide support to create/maintain ATO for the systems.
- Continuous monitoring of all systems.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college, plus 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Java, AWS and Linux.
- Familiarly with Microservices architecture.
PREFERRED SKILLSETS:
- Familiarly with System Administration in the cloud (deploying and operating services and applications in an Amazon AWS/C2S infrastructure environment).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Docker.
