We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aerospace Technician to join the Radiance Space Group Payload Design team. This role will support the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite payloads and spaceflight hardware. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in clean aerospace manufacturing environments, interpreting aerospace mechanical and/or electrical drawings, and executing precision mechanical and/or electrical tasks according to engineering specifications to meet payload performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and integrate satellite components (mechanical, structural, electrical) per engineering drawings and procedures.
- Conduct functional and environmental tests on spacecraft systems.
- Operate tools and equipment such as torque wrenches, oscilloscopes, multimeters and other mechanical and electrical tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and other technicians to ensure build accuracy and payload mission readiness.
- Maintain detailed records of all build steps, test results, and part traceability.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on hardware issues.
- execute integration schedules, procedures, and checklists; ensure alignment with project milestones and delivery dates
- Comply with all lab protocols, ESD safety, and handling procedures for sensitive flight hardware components.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace or high-reliability hardware assembly (preferably satellites, spacecraft, payloads, missiles, aviation, etc.)
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as NASA-STD-8739 or IPC-A-610/620
- Proficient with technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems and system-level integration practices
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Experience with flight hardware for LEO, GEO, or deep space missions
- Certifications in soldering, wire harnessing, or cleanroom procedures
- Experience with ERP systems and build documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Windchill, SAP)
- Knowledge of environmental testing standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1540, NASA GEVS)
- Experience working with launch vehicle integration teams or launch site operations
