Provide senior technical direction across NETOPS: architecture, modernization, and secure sustainment of enterprise LAN/WLAN.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation.
• Provides implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that necessitate high-level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
• Participation is needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, documentation and presentation phases.
• Occasional/Minimal travel for design reviews, lab/field validations, and complex troubleshooting
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelors in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in network engineering/architecture preferably in federal workspace.
• Certification Computing Environments: CCNA, CCNA-E, CCNP or CCNP-E
• Experience with Palo Alto/Cisco/Fortinet firewalls, ISE/Aruba ClearPass, and automation (Ansible/Python).
Certifications & Clearance:
• Clearance: Secret
• IA Level: IAM-II
