We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced, lifecycle-balanced system-of-systems solutions. This role involves applying interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop, and verify complex systems that meet customer and operational needs. You'll work across technical domains to ensure compatibility, performance, and mission success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional efforts to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria.
- Apply systems engineering principles to plan, design, and verify complex solutions.
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements.
- Integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces.
- Conduct analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, survivability, vulnerability, system security, and other quality factors.
- Develop and improve processes for requirements management, risk and issue tracking, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessments.
- Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. (Requires US Citizenship)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
- 9+ years of related work experience
- Proven experience in systems engineering, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated leadership experience in engineering roles or leading technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
