Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading system enhancement initiatives and driving process improvements.
Collaborating directly with government and contractor stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex incident reports (INCs).
Proactively recommending and implementing configuration changes to improve system performance and reliability.
Applying security patches and bug fixes across test and production environments.
Managing and updating critical databases with current and relevant data.
Creating and maintaining operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
Playing a key role in maintaining overall system stability and integrity.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
DOD 8570-compliant certification (e.g., Security+ or higher).
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Windows administration.
Experience performing security remediation based on vulnerability scan results.
Hands-on experience with Citrix administration.
Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles, software development lifecycles, and sustainment best practices.
Experience with software development or system integration in environments utilizing cloud, SOA, web services, or virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with AWS services and architecture (e.g., EC2, S3, Reserved Instances).
Proficient in using version control tools such as Git or GitLab.
Skilled in producing Systems Engineering artifacts, such as visual design documents (VDDs) and architecture diagrams.
Experience using Jira, Confluence, or other team collaboration tools.
Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing systems engineering support for geospatial systems or products.
Relevant Citrix certifications.
AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer.
Certification in SAFe Agile methodologies.
