As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Residential in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .
As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a residential community. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, helping to deter security-related incidents, and providing a visible presence to residents and guests. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you will be patrolling the area and responding to incidents as needed. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication, building trust and rapport with those you encounter. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and appropriate escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
- Monitor access points and check identification as required to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of all activities, observations, and/or incidents encountered during patrols.
- Work collaboratively with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
- Remain alert to unusual or suspicious activities and report them promptly to the appropriate authorities and/or management.

- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
*Must have (No Exceptions):
- Valid Florida Security License D License
and at least ONE of the following:

- U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
- Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice (120 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
