Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
- Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Minimum of 1 year in system engineering (e.g., Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements, or Test)
- Active U.S. Security Clearance required to start.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Nice-to-have skills but are not required:
- 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance or an active Top Secret clearance highly desired
- Understanding of DoD and missile defense command and control, battle management, architectures, and communications system concepts
- Experience with verification of requirements
- Experience in scripting and automated test development
- Experience using MATLAB, Python, JAVA, or similar language environment
- Experience with Agile Development processes
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Key tasks and expectations for the role:
- Collaborate with industry partners in the development and execution of a comprehensive assessment program
- Evaluate systems under various scenarios and architectures to optimize overall system mission performance
- Develop and maintain analysis tools including modeling and simulation tools
- Support integration and test domains, system engineering system performance, and system-specific issues
- Execute and document integration and test activities and events
- Perform system analysis trade studies to define technical concepts and solutions
