Summary:
● Newer contract seeking mid-level Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Level II
● Manage information system security policies, standards, and methodologies. Evaluate security solutions, maintain operational security posture, and administer user identification and authentication. Plan and coordinate IT security programs. Requires ISSO/CSSO experience, System Security knowledge, and understanding of Network Protocols.
Qualifications & Compensation:
● $243/yr+ (1880 hours/year)
● Ten (10) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

● Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies to protect our organization's assets.
● Assist with day-to-day security operations, including vulnerability assessments, configuration management, and documentation preparation to ensure compliance with security regulations.
