Details
Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
- Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
- Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
- Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
- Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation.
- Performs technical studies to refine project requirements.
- Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.

- Oversees project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Architect, implement, and support hybrid cloud infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure services, interoperability, security, and system performance.
- Deliver technical support for enterprise systems including troubleshooting, remediation, and optimization of infrastructure.
- Serve as a technical expert across a broad range of IT systems including cloud, networks, identity management, and system administration.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs and engineer solutions that meet technical and compliance requirements.
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
- Spearheads technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
- Support risk and compliance initiatives to align with regulatory frameworks and standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Requires 12 years of experience with a BS/BA
- Requires work experience equivalent and minimum 5 years leading project systems engineers to deliver new and upgrade existing services
- Requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience with Microsoft OSes and software, VMware technology suite, and Linux
- Experience developing work breakdowns, schedules, and engineering plans
- Experience with VMware datacenter solutions for enclaves, multitenancy, high availability and disaster recovery
- Experience with DevOps, automation, and scripting
- Experience with RMF and DODAF 2.0 documentation standards and Change Management
- Working knowledge of SharePoint metadata, application data fields, Active Directory, Exchange, Databases, and other enterprise systems
- Must possess a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP)
- Experience with physical and virtual infrastructure supporting one or more of the following OS: Windows, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, AIX
- Understanding of and experience with ITIL Foundations
- ITIL Foundations certification
- Microsoft Azure or other relevant cloud certifications
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, or HIPAA
