TEKsystems has an immediate need for a Logistic Engineer in support of a program at Tooffutt AFB, Bellevue NE.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
• Lead the team in logistics processes from acquisition to disposal, ensuring timely and efficient management of goods, personnel, and supplies.
• Utilize the Electronic Cost Reporting and Financial Tracking (eCRAFT) system to monitor contract costs, prepare reports, and track expenditures.
• Conduct rigorous contract cost monitoring to maintain accuracy and protect against mischarging or fraud.
• Prepare and submit reports using the eCRAFT Periodic Report Utility (ePRU) and analyze financial and logistics data to recommend improvements.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to optimize logistics support and compliance.
• Provide acquisition support including assistance in preparing procurement documentation for equipment and materials.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
• Ensuring complete and accurate logistics execution and cost reporting by Maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Delivering timely and reliable financial and logistics reporting.
• Collaborate effectively with acquisition teams and stakeholders to support contract deliverables.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in logistics management.
• Other duties as assigned.
Accountable For:
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
• Seven (7) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics management principles, practices, and processes.
• At least four (4) years of experience supporting C4ISR or similar systems, involving analyzing engineering/systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures, and formulating logistics management plans and guidelines. (Experience may be achieved simultaneously.)
• Five (5) years general experience in logistics management, preferably within federal service contracts or related sectors.
• Proficient with integrated logistics systems and contract cost monitoring tools such as eCRAFT.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with GOVT Contract & Contracts acquisition management.
