Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an Information Technology Project Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the technical project(s) and serves as a liaison between the project management team and the resource management team. The candidate will aid new personnel through the necessary onboarding requirements as they transition-in. The candidate will assist the Transition-In Manager in all tasks but focus on integrating the new personnel into daily task operations and access. Prepares project execution plans and identifies technical, and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Plans, integrates, manages, and tracks end-to-end IT service delivery. Develops and executes the Team BAE Systems service strategy tasks which include managing and maintaining assets required for IT service delivery. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Maintains operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards related to the use of computing resources.
This candidate shall be located within 50 miles of Washington, DC.

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Skills:
- Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of document management and configuration control in support of IT and communications to include governance and policy and process development and implementation with a Bachelor's degree.
- DoDM 8140.03 (former DoD 8570.01-M) Intermediate (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) qualification (e.g. Security+ CA) within 6 months of starting position
- Secret Clearance (Active)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- ITIL v4
- PMI-PMP
- Agile Cert - SAFE or PMI-ACP
- SCRUM Master experience
