Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a visionary and strategic Chief Technologist to spearhead the transformation of our business to meet the future needs of our US Federal technology sector clients. As a core member of the CGS leadership team, the Chief Technologist will build and develop a team focused on "federalizing" Capgemini's commercial innovation and technology for our government clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Technologist will be accountable for building a modern portfolio of technology offerings that resonate with the government's demand for commercial solutions on offerings (CSO) and serve as a compelling growth engine for CGS.
Technology Strategy:
• Develop and implement technology roadmaps for multi-year growth across the company
through new offerings/products and strategic technology partnerships
• Develop and attract a team of technologists with trusted CXO-level relationships across
federal departments.
• Collaborate with Capgemini Commercial and Global Technology Leaders to prioritize
technology development with a focus on AI.
• Participate in key strategic deals to drive innovation and improve competitive
technological positioning.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, CGO, CFO, and Board of Directors to align growth
efforts with company capabilities and financial goals.
• Drive technology application and adoption within existing clients.
Portfolio Management:
• Lead the overall set of solutions and product offerings for the US Federal Market.
• Orchestrate pre-sales and solutioning for marquee clients.
• Brief the Board of Directors on offering development and technology-led growth.
• Coordinate and engage CGS federal technology partnerships to accelerate partner-specific solutions and product offerings.
• Contribute to a multi-dimensional CGS marketing strategy, from industry and technology
conferences to impactful thought leadership and 'moments that matter.'
• Drive relationships with government agencies, system integrators, and technology
partners to optimize technology innovation on key strategic deals.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience leading organizations with technology budgets greater than $1B
• Proven success on both the commercial and federal markets
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading high-performing technology teams
• Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in government and technology
• Established network within DoD, DHS, and other key federal agencies
• Demonstrated experience developing and leading technology solutions across the
following Capgemini service offerings: AI, SaaS, PaaS, Data Analytics, Customer
Experience, DevOps, Cloud
• Trusted CXO relationships across the US Federal marketplace
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Growth mindset and broad executive experience leading change
• Exceptional written, technical, and oral presentation skills with C-suite stakeholders
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial work ethic necessary to lead within a rapidly
growing business
• Location is within the DMV
